Stormwater Management Plans

The core drawing set councils ask for at DA, CDC or CC. We design the whole system, not just the pipes.

What you receive

  • Stormwater Management Plan drawing set — site plan, roof plan, details & notes

  • Drainage calculations and design report

  • Hydraulic Grade Line analysis

  • Council DCP compliance summary

  • Amended plans in response to any council RFI

How we do it

  • Pipe and pit network sizing in DRAINS (Watercom), other methods, to Council requirements.

  • Lawful point of discharge assessment — kerb and gutter, charged line, absorption or infiltration trench, dispersion trench, level spreader, or proprietary system

  • Roof, planter box, podium and balcony drainage

  • Sump and pump systems where gravity discharge isn't available

  • Surcharge, backflow and overland flow path assessment

  • Integration of on-site detention, rainwater reuse and water quality treatment

  • Documented in Autodesk Civil 3D to AS3500.3 and council specifications

When you need it

Almost every DA, CDC and CC in NSW — alterations and additions, new dwellings, secondary dwellings, dual occupancy, multi-unit, subdivision, commercial and industrial development.

If your consent carries a stormwater condition, or your certifier has asked for a drainage design, this is the document.
