How we do it

  • 2D and 1D/2D hydraulic modelling in TUFLOW

  • 1D and 2D modelling in HEC-RAS

  • Terrain build from LiDAR and detail survey

  • Catchment hydrology in DRAINS (Watercom) to ARR 2019

  • Existing and developed case scenarios, including climate change allowances

  • Design events through to the probable maximum flood, with hazard classification

  • Calibration or verification against council models where data allows

When you need it

When your s10.7 Planning Certificate states the property is flood-affected. Where council flood mapping is absent, dated or too coarse for your site. Where a development must demonstrate no adverse flood impact on neighbours. Where a floor level or basement entry needs defending. Where a flood level is in dispute. Common on any development in a mapped floodplain.
